At the heart of the system is a series of shock-absorbing suction cups, dovetail plates, and a Hydraulic Damping Pole that ensure maximum camera stability at high speeds. These modular components allow the Hydra Alien to be mounted in 8 different configurations, supporting high and low angles, inverted gimbal setups, and more.

Each suction cup supports up to 110 lb, forming an ultra-secure bond to the vehicle’s surface without damage, thanks to protective silicone rubber.

Complete Remote Control Over DJI RS 2

With the Remote Control Kit included in the Pro version, you get wired and wireless access to your RS 2 gimbal. The remote handle enables real-time pan and tilt control via the integrated joystick, while the receiver module ensures stable communication up to 229 ft (line-of-sight). Start/stop recording and precise framing are now possible—without leaving the car.

Professional Monitoring and Power Management

The Hydra Alien Monitor Bracket lets you attach an external monitor for easier camera preview and gimbal control. For power, the system includes dual V-Mount battery plates and a custom power supply baseplate, allowing you to run the entire rig, including accessories, with high-capacity professional batteries—ideal for extended shoots.

Enhanced Shock-Absorption and Custom Mounting
