Equipment Rental Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before renting any equipment from Bless Film & PR. By making a booking, completing the KYC process, making payment, or taking possession of any equipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Valid ID & KYC Verification

The renter must provide valid Government-issued photo identification, address proof, and any other documents requested by Bless Film & PR before any equipment is released.

Bless Film & PR reserves the right to verify all submitted documents and may reject or cancel any booking if the information provided is found to be false, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent.

2. Booking Confirmation & Payment

• A booking is confirmed only after successful payment of the applicable rental charges, completion of the required KYC verification, and confirmation from Bless Film & PR.
• Rental charges must be paid in full before equipment pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Rental charges are generally non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the equipment being rented and the customer's profile.

The security deposit serves as security against:

• Physical damage
• Water or liquid damage
• Electrical damage
• Fire damage
• Theft or loss
• Missing accessories
• Late return charges
• Cleaning charges
• Any unpaid rental dues

The security deposit will be refunded only after the equipment has been returned, inspected, tested, and found to be in the same condition in which it was handed over.

If any damage, loss, or outstanding charges are identified, the applicable amount will be deducted from the security deposit.

If the total repair or replacement cost exceeds the security deposit, the renter agrees to pay the remaining balance immediately upon demand.

4. Rental Period

• The rental period begins from the scheduled pickup or delivery date and time.
• The rental period ends only after the equipment has been physically returned, inspected, and accepted by Bless Film & PR.
• The rental duration includes weekends and public holidays.
• Rental extensions must be requested before the scheduled return time and are subject to equipment availability and approval.

5. Equipment Condition

• Every item is inspected, tested, cleaned, and confirmed to be in proper working condition before handover.
• The renter must inspect all equipment and accessories before leaving.
• Any issue must be reported immediately before accepting delivery or pickup.
• Once accepted, the equipment shall be deemed to have been received in good working condition.
• The renter agrees to return all equipment in the same condition, except for normal wear and tear.

6. Customer Responsibility

The renter is fully responsible for the rented equipment from the time it is collected until it has been returned and officially accepted by Bless Film & PR.

The renter agrees to:

• Handle the equipment with proper care.
• Use the equipment only for its intended purpose.
• Store and transport the equipment safely.
• Protect it from rain, water, dust, sand, heat, fire, moisture, theft, and misuse.
• Ensure that only experienced and qualified persons operate the equipment.
• Not open, modify, repair, or disassemble any equipment without written permission.

7. Damage, Loss & Replacement

The renter accepts full responsibility for any damage, loss, theft, accidental damage, misuse, negligence, or destruction of the rented equipment during the rental period.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Physical damage
• Scratches
• Dents
• Broken parts
• Cracked screens
• Water damage
• Liquid damage
• Fire damage
• Electrical damage
• Sand or dust damage
• Fungus or moisture damage
• Theft
• Loss
• Accidental damage
• Unauthorized repairs

The renter shall be liable to pay 100% of the repair or replacement cost as determined by Bless Film & PR or its authorized service centre.

If the equipment is declared beyond repair or is lost or stolen, the renter shall pay the full replacement value.

Bless Film & PR reserves the right to deduct applicable charges from the security deposit.

If repair or replacement costs exceed the security deposit, the renter agrees to pay the remaining balance immediately.

8. Accessories

All supplied accessories must be returned, including but not limited to:

• Batteries
• Chargers
• Memory Cards (if provided)
• Camera Bags
• Lens Caps
• Body Caps
• Lens Hoods
• Filters
• Cables
• Tripods
• Quick Release Plates
• Mount Adapters
• Cases
• Power Adapters
• Any other supplied accessories

Missing accessories will be charged at their current replacement cost.

9. No Sub-Rental

The renter shall not sell, transfer, lend, lease, pledge, or sub-rent the rented equipment to any third party without prior written approval from Bless Film & PR.

10. Late Return

• The equipment must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time.
• Late returns without approval will attract additional rental charges.
• Bless Film & PR may charge an additional rental day or other applicable late fee.
• Repeated delays may also result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

11. Inspection After Return

Returned equipment will undergo inspection including:

• Physical condition
• Functional performance
• Lens condition
• Camera sensor
• Autofocus
• Electronic functions
• Battery condition
• Missing accessories

The security deposit will be refunded only after satisfactory inspection.

12. Cleaning Charges

Equipment must be returned in clean condition.

Additional cleaning charges may apply for excessive dirt, mud, sand, stickers, moisture, smoke residue, food stains, or any other contamination.

13. Data Responsibility

Bless Film & PR shall not be responsible for any loss of:

• Photos
• Videos
• Audio recordings
• Project files
• Memory card data
• Storage device contents

Customers are advised to back up all important data before returning the equipment.

14. Cancellation Policy

• Rental bookings may be cancelled only with prior notice.
• Booking advances and rental payments are generally non-refundable.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental date may result in forfeiture of the booking amount or can be adjusting in next order

15. Equipment Availability

All bookings are subject to equipment availability.

If equipment becomes unavailable due to technical issues, previous rental delays, damage, or unforeseen circumstances, Bless Film & PR may provide an equivalent replacement or cancel the booking with an appropriate refund.

16. Limitation of Liability

Bless Film & PR shall not be liable for:

• Production delays
• Missed shoots
• Loss of business
• Financial losses
• Data loss
• Personal injury
• Third-party claims
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from use or failure of rented equipment.

The renter assumes full responsibility for the use of all rented equipment.

17. Right to Refuse or Cancel Rental

Bless Film & PR reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any booking if:

• False or fake documents are submitted.
• Payment is incomplete.
• KYC verification fails.
• Rental Terms & Conditions are violated.
• Equipment safety is at risk.
• Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

19. Acceptance

By signing the rental agreement, completing KYC verification, making payment, or taking possession of the equipment, the renter confirms that:

• They have carefully read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• They agree to comply with all rental policies of Bless Film & PR.
• They have received the equipment in good working condition.
• They agree to return the equipment in the same condition in which it was received, except for normal wear and tear.
• They accept full responsibility for any damage, theft, loss, missing accessories, late return, or misuse during the rental period.
• They authorize Bless Film & PR to deduct applicable charges from the security deposit.
• If the repair or replacement cost exceeds the security deposit, they agree to pay the remaining balance immediately upon demand.
